Who needs to do training and when do they need to do it by? Clear down those spreadsheets: manage your mandatory and compliance training with Oracle, not Excel.
Non-compliance costs. You can cut the risk.
With Oracle Learning Management, it is easy to work out who has taken any given training course in any given time period. That’s great but often that’s not as important as knowing who should have taken training but hasn’t.If a sales manager forgets to enrol on mandatory sales training, how do you tell if he or she needs to be chased?
Who needs to do training?
Compliance Training delivers powerful rules which define who in your business should take any given training course. Suddenly you will be reporting on who has taken training alongside who needs to be booked on training right away or risk being non-compliant.And when do they need to do it by?
Compliance training often has to be done within a rigid timeframe such as job specific training taken within a certain number of days of entering a particular role or induction training that has to be taken within a fixed number of days after being hired.Setting up these deadlines is easy with Compliance Training. You will have at your fingertips intelligence around who should do training and when they should do it by; powerful and essential management information required by any Learning Team that deals with mandatory or regulatory training.
Help people help themselves
Getting your administrators the information they need is half the story. To maximise your return on investment, you need your workers to manage themselves proactively. Both managers and employees get a new self-service portal which has a ‘traffic light’ status that lets them see at a glance how they and their team are doing with respect to their training deadlines. Reports are available for managers and administrators along with a special ‘Executive Summary’ for use within BI Publisher. Managers can also export their data into Excel so they can work with their data in a tool they are comfortable with.
Alert Me
It’s nice to have a portal but you have to make sure your managers log in. Compliance Training comes with a suite of alerts that ensure the manager and learner know when there’s a risk of missing a deadline, when they’ve actually missed the deadline or where the system has detected that brand new training is required.

Why your Learning and Development Team need Compliance Training
- If you are in a regulated industry, fines for non-compliance due to lack of training can be significant. You need to avoid them. This tool will greatly assist your learning team in managing your compliance training and ensuring people meet their training deadlines.
- Trying to find out who should be doing mandatory training can be time consuming; massive time savings are to be had by a solution that automates this manual task
- If your organization is large with a sprawl of job codes and positions, no amount of manual work will capture all the people you have to book on training; a system solution improves the accuracy of identifying who’s not completed the training they should have.
- Take the pressure off your Learning Team by giving Managers the tools to take control. With a comprehensive set of alerts and dashboards, managers and employees can effectively manage training without intervention of the learning team.
- Save time on management summaries: the executive summary report can be used to deliver a simple to understand checkpoint on how the organization is doing with respect to compliance training
- Having reminders and alerts sent to learners means they are less likely to forget about their training and be a ‘no-show’; reducing no-shows can be a big cost saver.
- Reports can tell you how many people need to do training in the coming year, letting you accurately forecast demand and schedule the correct amount of classes.
- In highly regulated industries like Finance and Local Government, rules around compliance can be complex and often take whole teams of people to manage the administration. By leveraging the more advanced configuration options, you can free those people up to take on other tasks, making big savings.
