Product Activator Responsibility
A new responsibility is delivered which gives you access to the Product Activator. The responsibility is called ‘Applaud Administrator’ and should be given to a user account responsible for administrating your system. You will use this responsibility to:- obtain a unique serial number for your product
- activate the product
- view how many days you have left of your trial
Product Activator Concurrent Program
A new concurrent program is delivered named ‘Product Administration’. This concurrent program can be run from the Applaud Administrator responsibility. You are also free to add this new concurrent program to a request group of your choice, so you can access it from your own responsibilities.The program takes the following parameters:

Your Serial Number
When you install a product onto your system, Applaud Solutions generates a serial number for your product. This serial number is unique for this database and will be of the form SN-******-******-******-******-****** where each ‘*’ is an alphanumeric character. Your Serial Number may be longer or shorter than this example.To activate your product, you will need to supply your serial number to Applaud Solutions by entering your details on the web form here. Once we have verified you have purchased the correct licence, you will receive an activation code by return within 24 hours.
Activating your Product
Our products cease to work after 30 days from the date of initial installation when in ‘Trial Mode’. If you wish to continue using the product, you will need to purchase the require licences and then ‘Activate’ it. All trial versions are fully functional, so there is no further installation required once the product has been activated.Step 1 – Obtain Serial Number
Firstly, obtain the serial number for the product as described in the steps above
Step 2 – Send us your serial Number
Shortly after mailing Applaud your serial number, you should receive an Activation Code by return. This activation code will be of the form:
AC-******-******-******-******-********
where ‘*’ is an alphanumeric character.
Step 3 – Enter Activation code
To activate your product, you will need to run the Product Administration process. Choose the product you are activating, mode of ‘A’ and enter the activation code, complete with hyphens (-) and submit the request. Check the resulting output to confirm the product has been activated successfully. You can double check the activation is successfully by running the program again in ‘I’ mode.
